a story which has not been told,
from my recent trip will now unfold.
so sorry that i did neglect
an experience with a memorable effect.
i found myself on an Edgartown street
surrounded by shops with lovely treats.
i wandered into one, with a stunning array
of items from Turkey, which included tea trays.
i spoke to the owner about his wares
and mentioned The Devotea “Persian Princess” with flair.
then just when I was about to be done,
this offering appeared, a special one.
with this little gesture my day was made
