A few of you read my post, More Than Just The Tea where I shared my thoughts about one of my favorite tea haunts.
There was mention at that time that tea tastings featuring the seasonal arrivals of new teas would be held at the office location.
Mind you this is not a retail location so stop bys without an appointment would not be advised.
The new offices have captured some of the original charm, the warm friendly atmosphere and maintains the amazing quality tea selections.
This is accomplished mainly through the welcome you receive from the hosts Ana & Sebastian.
As I walked in, I immediately got hugs and introductions to the previously seated guests. As more and more people began to arrive, some whom I’ve met before, the atmosphere was filled with warmth and our cups filled with streams of tea.
Silver Needle, Phoenix Honey, Tung Ting and more.
I went home with a 16 year old Tieguanyin which I brewed as soon as I got home, fabulous. I experienced an unexpected palate pleaser, as I paired it with a snack of Aged Robusto Cheese and assorted fruit.
In addition, a bag of Silver Needle and Ceylon Orange Pekoe made their way to my shelves (as if I don’t already have enough tea).
It’s so hard to resist when the tea is good and the atmosphere appealing.
Thanks again.

So glad you had such a great time. I really wish I could have left work early to make it there in time. Hopefully there will be more tastings in the near future.

I recognize the shibo! Nice following In Pursuit of Tea’s journey along with you. Let’s hope they open up shop again soon. What a nice tea experience you had, and how exciting you brought home a number of goodies.
