I recently have had the opportunity to work with Tea By Tiffany, a lovely lady full of energy fueled by her love of tea.
Tea By Tiffany has just re-opened, for the second season, in the DeKalb Market, Brooklyn, NY.
The market a space dedicated to retail and food container shops has a host of offerings including classes, workshops, live music and dance parties.
This year Tiffany decided that her theme would be a petite french cafe. The cafe, designed by Mika J Albertini, is chock full of tea specialties and cute tea inspired gifts.
At the opening last week there were lines of people waiting to sample some of the wares (for a moment I thought I was in the line-up for Laduree).
The specialties created by local merchants and are delicious and delightful:
Scones, Teacakes, Cake Bombs, Truffles, Vegetarian and Traditional Twinkies, and Petit Fours
A variety of flavors including two that are tea infused with Tiffanys’ special blends
Coconut Chai (Non-Dairy/ Vegetarian)
Golden Monkey (Raw Vegan) Infused with Black Tea from Yunnan
Tea By Tiffany a proper cup
High quality Black, Green and Oolong teas from China
Premium Chai and Hibiscus Blends
3 or 4 different Iced Teas served daily, Hot Teas also available by request
Children’s book/tea gift packages
Novelty Pouch Tea Traveler
Handsculpted Tea inspired Jewelry
Tiffany held a Tea and Chocolate Pairing for her grand opening and provided a lovely assortment of Assam, White Fruit Spice and Oolong Teas paired with truffles, milk chocolate caramel and dark chocolate. The event was so successful afterwards there were several requests for her to reproduce this offering at other facilities.
She will be hosting Afternoon Tea on weekends and has arranged daily offerings of Afternoon Tea To Go.
If you are in the area or traveling, this stop is a tea affectionados delight.

Xavier, thanks for your response. The space is seasonal venue so yes the renter can change the theme each season.

I love your posts about New York City Jo, I feel like I’m getting to know the little tea corners, some tucked away, some well known, right from the comforts of my laptop in my home. Must go to the big Tea Cup soon!
